CARITAS provides economic development, livelihoods, health and social care, education, service to foreign refugees, emergency and crisis intervention, environmental supervision and protection of the needy, in coordination with the Council of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops, dioceses, and priests.
Caritas Lebanon honors God through its commitment to the Catholic Church and its social teachings, to the human person and his dignity within the framework of loving service that requires discipline and acceptance of the humble role of a servant leader. It is also committed to justice and benevolence to all of humanity, as it works to combat inequality and promote equal opportunities for a decent life for all. In addition to the human values of professional competence, transparency and accountability, giving priority to the principle of solidarity, spreading the culture of partnership and love, and emphasizing the duty to work with these principles among individuals and groups.
